Herman Guevara named President of Florida Wall & Ceiling Contractors Association

(Kissimmee, Florida)…  FWCCA announced the appointment of Herman Guevara, as President of their organization at their recent conference in Orlando, Florida.

Celebrating 40 years of service to the industry, the Florida Wall & Ceiling Contractors Association is the voice of the Florida wall and ceiling industry.

Duties of FWCCA Officers and its Board of Directors include promoting the wall and ceiling industry in Florida, and advancing relationships between and among contractors in that industry. The organization also encourages, develops, and protects the building industry in general, especially within the wall and ceiling sector.

Herman Guevara is the Director of Sales at Florida-based Plastic Components, a leading manufacturer of PVC products for stucco/plaster, stone veneer, exterior insulated finish systems (EIFS), direct applied (DEFS), and drywall.

Mr. Guevara’s career spans over 30 years in the building materials industry. He holds a BA in business administration (University of Michigan) and a Masters in International Management from AGSIM (Thunderbird). In addition to FWCCA he is active on many industry boards and committees including AWCI, FLAPB, SMA and ASTM.
