Testimonial from a happy PLASTIC LATH user
We have been using Ultra Lath Plus for many years.
It is convenient to use in the roll because we can install it continuously for as long a run as the industry standard and ASTM C1063 allow.
When we do cut it, we are not faced with a hundred little razor blades which is the case with galvanized diamond lath.
It is the obvious option for a lath and plaster job near saltwater since it will not oxidize under saltwater exposure.
It is also lightweight, making it less work for the lathers.
The new version of Ultra Lath has taller furring, giving it better embedment in the plaster or stucco material.
The color of Ultra Lath (yellow) enables the superintendent or project manager to see what work is done at a glance.
We used plastic lath on a large Ritz Carlton Hotel restoration project in Grand Cayman a couple years ago with great success.
We have used it for the last four years on a condominium restoration project on the Eastern Shore of Maryland – near saltwater.Rob Aird, President
