Application

TOWER TECH²™ elastomeric sealant, distributed by Plastic Components, Inc. is the answer to reliable caulking of butt joints, intersections, ends and corners in projects that use Plastic Components' PVC accessories.

This one-component, high-performance gun-grade sealant forms a flexible, airtight and water-resistant seal against moisture, and other environmental conditions. this durable sealant offers superior adhesion and flexibility — with 800% elongation.

Use this sealant to caulk the butt joints, ends, angles, corners and intersections of Plastic Components’ PVC accessories at time of installation.

Installation Guidelines

Surfaces to be caulked must be dry and free of all dirt, dust, mildew, oil or other contaminants. Apply sealant only when surface and air temperatures are above 40° F and rising. Do not apply on surfaces that exceed 140° F, or when rain is expected.

Application: Cut nozzle at 45° angle. Cured bead should be between 1/8" and 1/2". Use backer rod for gaps larger than 1/2". Smooth bead with moistened cloth. Clean tools with soap and water. Allow 4 to 6 hours cure time before painting. Not intended for areas that will be submerged in water. KEEP FROM FREEZING. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
